Berlin Pride is one of Europe’s largest pride events. It will see it’s 40th rally on 28 July 2018. On this day lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, transsexual and intersex persons and other queer people will be marching together. They rally for visibility, acceptance and equality.

The short form for “lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, transsexual and intersex persons and other queer people” ist LGBTTIQ*.

In the weeks before and after there are many other events for LGBTTIQ* people. These are for example the Lesbisch-Schwules Stadtfest (the LGBTTIQ* street fair), the CSD auf der Spree (Canal Pride), Gay Night at the Zoo, the Dyke* March, the Respect Gaymes and the LesBiSchwule Parkfest in Friedrichshain. They all have become an integral part of Berlin’s Pride calendar.

A big number of parties and cultural events, readings, exhibitions, discussion and networking events, sports tournaments and much more add up to this. The queer community presents itself in all it’s variety during summer. Taking a stroll to discover Germany’s queer capital can be exciting.

The Berlin Pride Guide offers an overview of most events throughout BERLIN PRIDE SEASON. It also offers lots of good-to-know stuff about the Berlin LGBTTIQ* Community. Berlin welcomes you!
